Everyone will meet Friday @ 1700 Batten Farm Road for the War Run pre-party. Colby has offered up his house and land for people to party and camp. The hosts will be providing a pig for everyone to enjoy – consider it a pre-run feast. It’ll be a good time and place for hanging with old friends and meeting new ones. Hotels are only 7 miles down the road for anyone wanting a hot shower and nice comfy bed to sleep in. Saturday morning everyone will seek out breakfast at any of the multiple spots, whether it’s fast food or a sit down diner. We will meet at 9am at a location just south of the hotels. Following a detailed safety brief, kickstands will go up at 10am, heading south for Moores Creek National Battlefield. Once at the battlefield we ask everyone to visit, tour, and learn about the history. From there, we will depart for the final destination – the Compound. After arriving at the Compound, we will ensure accountability of all riders and then kick off the NC BBQ. A legendary and award winning chef will be preparing some of the best pig butt in the area. When everyone has finished eating, we will start the Chopper Games which include: Slow Ride, Waitress Carry, Barrel Roll, & the Bag. Once the chopper game festivities have finished, we’ll move right into the massive raffle. Donations from all the sponsors include piles of company merch, tattoo gift certificates, hand painted art, custom painted helmets, gas tanks, and skate decks. And then, what everyone has been waiting for…the Biggest Mini Bike Race in the Country!! We’re expecting 40-50 mini bikes to compete for the grand prize purse with racers coming all the way from Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Florida, as well as all the surrounding areas of Virginia, South Carolina and Georgia. All raffle donations will go to "Building Homes for Heroes".
